Dosa is one of the Indian foods. Soya wheat dosa is one of many kinds of dosa. Here we will give you soya wheat dosa recipe for learning Indian cooking.

1/4 Cup soya flour
1 teaspoon chopped onion
Few chopped curry leaves
Salt to taste
Oil enough for shallow frying
3/4 cup wheat flour
2 red chilles, chopped
1 teaspoon oil for temper
1/2 cup coconut water or cold water


Mix soya and wheat flour , steam for 20 minutes. If desired, or use without steaming flour.

Sift the steamed flour mixture.

Mix with coconut water or cold water adding little at a time to avoid lu,ping.

Leave this covered in a warm place for 6 to 8 hours for natural formation.

Temper onions, curry leaves and red chillies and mix with dosa batter.

Add enough boiled water and salt to make a batter of required consistency.

Spread the batter ladleful on greased hot pan and cover thosai with lid. Cook for 5 minutes.

Turn it over and cook the other side uncovered for 3 or 4 minutes.

Remove from the pan.

Yield: 8 to 10 minutes small thosai.
